Dual-Chassis Test Bench Kit

This two-pack supplies one ATX open frame and one EATX open frame built from .8 mm SPCC steel with a baked black sand-grain finish. Both units accept standard ATX power supplies measuring 150*86*(140-250) mm and mount the PSU at the bottom. The ATX frame fits boards up to 305*245 mm while the EATX frame extends support to 305*330 mm. Each chassis includes one 3.5" bay and one 2.5" bay, except the EATX model which doubles that to two of each.

Sustained-Load Behaviour

Open construction eliminates enclosure restriction so component temperatures track ambient airflow directly rather than rising inside a sealed volume. Graphics card length and width are unlimited by the frame itself, allowing full-size coolers to exhaust freely during extended compute or render sessions. The steel plate dissipates some heat passively while the bottom-mounted PSU draws cool air from beneath the bench. No integrated fans are present, so sustained thermal performance depends entirely on the room or rack airflow you provide.

Pre-Order Checklist

Verify that your motherboard dimensions fall within 305*245 mm for the ATX frame or 305*330 mm for the EATX frame before selecting which unit to populate. Confirm your power supply matches the 150*86*(140-250) mm ATX reference size so it seats correctly on the bottom mounts. Ensure you have sufficient bench or shelf depth for the 440 mm length and either 265 mm or 345 mm width depending on the chosen chassis. The frames ship without side panels, so cable routing and physical security are your responsibility.
