1000VA Sine Wave UPS for desktop and networking gear

The APC Back-UPS Pro BR1000MS delivers 1000VA and 600W of pure sine-wave output through ten NEMA 5-15R outlets. Six outlets provide battery backup while four supply surge protection only. A built-in LCD panel shows load and runtime status.

Replaces basic surge strips and standby UPS units

Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects brownouts and over-voltages without draining the battery, extending cell life during frequent grid fluctuations. The upgrade is worthwhile when attached equipment requires clean sine-wave power or when brownouts occur often enough to trip a standby unit.

USB Type A and C ports for management only

The communication interfaces support monitoring software and graceful shutdown scripts; they do not charge phones or tablets at high current. Runtime at full 600W load is 3.68 minutes and 12.2 minutes at half load, so plan for orderly shutdown rather than extended operation. Recharge requires 16 hours after a full discharge.
