Compact AMD Ryzen Platform
The ASRock B550M-ITX/AC is a Mini ITX motherboard for the AM4 socket, built around the AMD B550 chipset. It supports 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen processors and future Ryzen CPUs, with a BIOS update available for Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 series. The board fits small-form-factor cases while keeping full desktop connectivity.
Sustained Power Delivery
An 8 Power Phase design uses premium 60A power chokes to keep Vcore voltage stable during long workloads. The chokes raise saturation current up to three times over traditional parts, helping the VRM run cooler when the CPU holds high clocks for extended periods. This layout targets consistent output rather than short bursts.
PCIe 4.0 M.2 for Fast Storage
One Hyper M.2 socket accepts 2280 M Key modules and runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 with Matisse CPUs or PCIe 3.0 x4 with Renoir APUs. It also supports SATA3 6.0 Gb/s M.2 drives and NVMe SSDs as boot devices. This single slot decides whether the board can host a high-speed system drive in a compact build.
