It targets system integrators and IT teams building custom AMD EPYC 9004 series platforms with high drive density. The chassis supports a single Socket SP5 processor up to 300 W and includes a redundant 750 W 80-PLUS Platinum power supply. No CPU or memory is installed.

Tool-less drive bays and passive backplane

Twelve front bays accept 2.5-inch drives through a passive NVMe/SATA/SAS backplane; four bays are wired for PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe and eight for SATA. SAS drives require an additional RAID or HBA card with cabling. Two internal M.2 M-key slots support PCIe 4.0 x4 lengths from 2230 to 2280. A single full-height half-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is available via riser for expansion cards up to 75 W.

Sustained throughput with dual 10GbE

Dual Intel X550-AT2 controllers provide two RJ45 ports at 10 Gigabit speeds for continuous network traffic. The redundant platinum power supply maintains delivery during extended operation. Eight DDR5 RDIMM slots support up to 512 GB per 3DS module for large memory footprints. Cooling is sized for the 300 W CPU envelope under constant load.
