LGA 2066 Mini ITX platform

The ASRock X299E-ITX/AC is an Intel X299 motherboard in the Mini ITX form factor. It accepts Core X series processors that expose 28 or 44 PCIe lanes. Four-core models with 16 lanes are not supported. Builders needing high core counts in a compact chassis can use this board.

Quad channel DDR4 and PCIe 3.0 x16 limits

Four SO-DIMM slots deliver quad channel DDR4 up to 64 GB with overclocked speeds reaching 4000 MHz. A single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot runs at x16 electrical mode, so only one graphics card or accelerator fits. Six SATA3 6.0 Gb/s ports provide RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 alongside NCQ and hot plug.

Three M.2 sockets with mixed wiring

One Ultra M.2 socket supports both SATA and PCIe Gen3 x4 drives up to 32 Gb/s in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. Two additional Ultra M.2 sockets accept 2280 PCIe modules only. The mix of SATA and PCIe wiring on the first slot decides which drive types can be installed simultaneously.
