Socket and generation fit

This motherboard uses the LGA 1200 socket and the Intel Z590 chipset. It accepts both 10th and 11th Generation Intel Core processors. The chipset choice determines feature support such as PCI Express 4.0 lanes and memory overclocking headroom.

Memory ceiling by CPU generation

With an 11th Generation Core i9, i7 or i5 installed, the board can run DDR4 non-ECC un-buffered modules up to 4800+(OC) across four slots in dual-channel mode. A 10th Generation processor limits that ceiling to 4666+(OC). Maximum capacity is 128 GB.

Bundled WiFi 6E module

A WiFi 6E module is supplied pre-installed in the dedicated M.2 Key E socket. It adds 802.11ax wireless and Bluetooth connectivity without consuming a PCIe slot or a rear-panel USB port. The module uses the CNVi interface provided by the chipset.
