EATX Mid-Tower for High-End Builds

The ASUS GX601 ROG STRIX HELIOS is a mid-tower chassis built from steel, aluminium, ABS and 4 mm smoked tempered glass. It accepts ATX, E-ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and provides room for up to nine storage drives. Four 140 mm fans are pre-installed and a built-in hub simplifies wiring for additional cooling.

Front-Panel USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C and Gen 1 Ports

The I/O panel includes one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C connector, four USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, audio and a combined LED and fan-speed control. Bandwidth is limited to the USB 3.1 specification; faster USB 3.2 or USB4 devices will operate at Gen 1 or Gen 2 speeds. The single Type-C port carries no video or power-delivery capability beyond the standard.

Tool-Free Glass Panels and Pre-Routed Cables

Side panels lift off without tools, giving quick access to the interior. A translucent rear panel hides pre-run chassis cables and an adjustable cover with GPU support brackets. Builders must route the front-panel USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C header to a compatible motherboard connector; older boards lacking that header will leave the port inactive.
