Mid-Tower Case for EATX Builds

The ASUS ROG GX601S is a white mid-tower chassis that accepts EATX motherboards up to 12x10.9 inches alongside ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. It ships with four 140 x 28mm PWM fans and offers front, left and right tempered glass panels with ARGB lighting synchronised through AURA SYNC. Builders gain eight standard expansion slots plus two vertical slots for alternative GPU mounting. Storage options include four 2.5-inch drive racks and two combo bays for 2.5 or 3.5-inch drives.

Sustained Thermal Behaviour

Front radiator support extends to 420 mm while the top accommodates up to 360 mm and the rear handles 140 mm, allowing large liquid-cooling loops to dissipate heat continuously. The pre-installed 140 mm fans at the front and rear move air through removable dust filters on the front, top and bottom panels. Maximum CPU cooler height is 190 mm, giving room for tall tower coolers during extended workloads. Cable routing space behind the motherboard tray measures 33 mm to keep airflow paths clear.

Interface and Connectivity Limits

The front panel provides two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C ports running at 20 Gbps and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports at 5 Gbps, plus a combined headphone and microphone jack. Graphics cards up to 450 mm in length fit comfortably, while power supplies up to 220 mm long are supported. The chassis dimensions are 250 x 565 x 591 mm and it weighs 18 kg, defining the physical envelope for transport and desk placement.
