The laptop arrives with both compounds already applied and validated through burn-in stress testing, BIOS and driver updates, and full hardware verification. No user installation is required for the thermal upgrade. The main risk with liquid metal is migration if the heatsink pressure is uneven or the laptop suffers a heavy impact; the builder mitigates this with a conformal barrier and pressure testing. Gelid GC Extreme on the GPU is a non-conductive paste, so it poses no short-circuit risk even if it spreads.
