White-edition build and 3.5-slot cooler
The card ships in an all-white colourway with a die-cast shroud, frame and backplate that add rigidity and vented surfaces for airflow. Three enlarged axial fans move 23% more air volume than the previous design while a patented uniform thermal plate with milled grooves contacts the GPU directly. The 3.5-slot thickness accommodates the large fin stack required by the 4080 GPU.
PCIe 4.0 interface and modern display outputs
Connection to the host uses a PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot and a single 16-pin power connector fed by a 750 W supply. Video output consists of two HDMI 2.1a ports and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors supporting up to 7680 x 4320 resolution across four simultaneous monitors. HDCP 2.3 is included for protected content playback.
Thermals, acoustics and power envelope
In normal gaming loads the enlarged fans and uniform thermal plate keep the GPU at the rated boost clocks of 2655 MHz in OC mode or 2625 MHz in default mode without excessive noise. The 256-bit GDDR6X memory running at 22.4 Gbps stays within the 750 W system power recommendation. ARGB lighting syncs with Aura Sync for coordinated system aesthetics.
