Installation and common pitfalls

Mount the unit in a standard 19-inch rack using the included rails and connect the dual redundant 80 PLUS Platinum power supplies to separate circuits. Populate the 12 drive bays with 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives; the system is sold diskless so drives must be sourced separately. Insert memory modules into the UDIMM slots for expansion and add PCIe 5.0 x8 or x4 cards into the open slots. A frequent issue is forgetting to enable the PCIe Gen5 SSD support in ADM before installing high-speed storage cards.
