The AUBEAMTO E19 connects 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA or IDE hard drives and solid state drives to a computer through USB 3.0 or Type C. It also supports 5.25 inch optical drives such as DVD ROM and CD RW. The kit includes dual IDE connectors for 40 pin and 44 pin devices plus a SATA III connector. No driver installation is required for Windows 11 down to XP, Mac OS or Linux.

USB 3.0 Speed Limits

The adapter delivers up to 5Gbps transfer speed when used with a SATA III drive and a USB 3.0 port. Actual throughput depends on the connected drive and host controller. The interface is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports, though speeds will drop to those standards. Only one IDE and one SATA drive can operate simultaneously.

Build and Connectors

A black plastic housing encloses the circuitry and provides a SATA III port alongside 40 pin and 44 pin IDE headers.
