The Axis M5074 is a compact PTZ dome camera delivering 720p resolution and 5× optical zoom plus 12× digital zoom. It suits installers who need discreet pan, tilt and zoom coverage for indoor or protected outdoor scenes. ONVIF support and a broad protocol stack simplify integration with most VMS platforms. Built-in analytics and Zipstream compression reduce storage and bandwidth demands.

Verify PoE class and mounting before ordering

The unit draws up to 9.3 W over IEEE 802.3af/at Class 3 PoE, so confirm your switch or injector can supply that budget. A single Ethernet cable carries both power and data, but the mounting surface must accept the Ø130 mm base. Network infrastructure must support IPv4/IPv6, RTSP and the listed QoS DiffServ tags for reliable streaming. One-way audio uses the integrated microphone only.
