The Bitmain Antminer S19 (86Th) is an ASIC miner engineered for the SHA-256 algorithm used by Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. It delivers a nominal hashrate of 86 TH/s with a tolerance of ±3% and draws approximately 3250 W at the wall. The unit measures 195 x 290 x 400 mm and weighs 14500 g, requiring a 12 V supply and an environment between 5 and 40 °C.

Included power supply changes deployment

A power supply ships in the box, removing the need to source a separate high-wattage unit rated for 3250 W ±5%. The integrated PSU connects directly to the hash boards, shortening cable runs and reducing potential points of failure. New firmware adds faster startup and an intelligent control mechanism that monitors chip health and adjusts frequency to keep efficiency near 34.5 J/TH ±5%.

86 TH/s headroom and limits

At stock settings the miner sustains 86 TH/s while consuming 3250 W, yielding roughly 34.5 J/TH. Custom chips can reach 23 J/TH in optimised conditions, but the factory profile targets stability over peak efficiency. The RJ45 10/100M link is adequate for stratum traffic; latency or bandwidth beyond 100 Mbit/s provides no benefit. Operation above 40 °C or below 5 °C, or in condensing humidity, will throttle or halt the device.
