Form factor and audience

The COUGAR FV270 RGB is a Micro ATX mid-tower case finished in green. It targets builders who want a compact chassis with a panoramic, curved tempered-glass perimeter and extensive pre-installed ARGB PWM cooling. The design supports E-ATX motherboards and graphics cards up to 420 mm long, making it suitable for high-performance small-form-factor systems. Reverse-connector motherboard compatibility keeps the visible interior clean.

Installation experience

Four 140 mm ARGB PWM fans, one 120 mm ARGB PWM fan and a 40 mm fan ship pre-installed, so airflow is ready out of the box. Removable top and bottom brackets simplify hardware mounting, while magnetic dust filters on intake faces pull off without tools. The lifted front panel adds a lower intake path that can be blocked by a flush desk or thick carpet. Cable routing behind the motherboard tray is straightforward, but the single expansion slot limits add-in cards to one device.

Sustained-load behaviour

Angled fan placement on polyhedral faces directs uninterrupted streams across the CPU and GPU zones during long sessions. The 140 mm and 120 mm PWM fans ramp speed with temperature, while the 40 mm unit assists VRM or memory cooling. Curved glass does not restrict airflow because intake occurs through the lifted front and angled panels rather than flat mesh. Dust filters stay effective over weeks if cleaned periodically, preserving thermal headroom for extended workloads.
