The darkFlash DB460M is a white Micro ATX mid-tower built from 0.5 mm SPCC steel. It accepts Micro ATX, ATX and ITX motherboards and provides four expansion slots for add-in cards. The clamshell tempered glass side panel opens without tools for quick hardware access. Builders who need more than two 3.5-inch bays or a larger E-ATX board will need a different case.

Sustained Thermal Behaviour

A full mesh front panel feeds up to twelve 120 mm fans and four 140 mm fans alongside a side air duct to move large volumes of air continuously. Top mounts accept 360 mm, 280 mm or 240 mm radiators while the front supports up to 240 mm, keeping coolant temperatures steady during long sessions. The layout clears CPU coolers to 174 mm and graphics cards to 420 mm so high-wattage parts stay fed with fresh air. Users who prefer a sealed front or silent-focused build will find the open mesh less suitable.

Interface Practical Limits

Front I/O supplies one USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports plus HD audio; transfer speed tops out at the 3.0 specification and the two 2.0 ports share bandwidth. Internal drive mounts hold two 2.5-inch SSDs and two 3.5-inch HDDs, capping storage expansion at four drives. Four rear slots limit the number of full-height add-in cards regardless of motherboard layout. Anyone needing front USB-C, more than four drives or additional slot space must look elsewhere.
