The Alienware m15 R4 is a 15.6-inch Windows 11 gaming laptop powered by an eight-core Intel Core i7-10870H processor reaching 5.0 GHz turbo frequency. It pairs 16 GB of system memory with a 2 TB solid-state drive and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU with 8 GB GDDR6 video memory. The non-touch FHD panel displays 1920 x 1080 resolution in a dark gray chassis.

Connectivity and expansion ports

Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are provided, one supporting PowerShare for charging devices while the laptop sleeps. Thunderbolt 3 provides 40 Gb/s throughput, which limits the performance scaling of an external desktop GPU connected through the Graphics Amplifier port compared to a direct PCIe connection. The soldered 16 GB memory cannot be upgraded, restricting multitasking headroom for memory-intensive workloads.
