This 3.84TB SAS 12Gb/s enterprise SSD is built for Dell PowerEdge servers that require high-capacity mixed-use storage. It ships new with a Gen 14 caddy for direct installation into supported 2.5-inch drive bays.

The jump is worthwhile when current arrays hit capacity limits or when mixed-use workloads demand higher endurance than read-optimised drives provide. It replaces drives that can no longer sustain the write intensity of virtualised or database environments.
