The PowerEdge R6625 fits two AMD EPYC 9124 processors, each with 16 cores at 3.00 GHz and 64 MB cache, into a 1U rack chassis. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 memory ship in two 16 GB modules across 24 slots. A single 480 GB SATA SSD handles boot duties while eight universal 2.5-inch bays accept SAS, SATA or NVME drives for capacity.
Sustained multi-threaded throughput in a 1U form
Dual processors and 32 threads per socket keep compute density high for HPC and VDI workloads that run continuously. The 1400 W power supply feeds both CPUs and the full complement of drive bays without throttling under prolonged load. Memory bandwidth scales with DDR5 across all populated channels as additional modules are added.
Security-focused chassis with flexible drive layout
AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualisation, Secure Memory Encryption and a silicon root of trust protect data at rest and in use. Cryptographically signed firmware and secure boot harden the boot chain. The eight universal drive slots let operators mix interface types per workload, while three single-wide GPU slots support accelerator cards for specialised tasks.
