This new Dell PowerEdge MX760C is a half-width blade server built for dense compute clusters. Two Intel Gold 6438Y+ processors deliver 32 cores each at 2.0 GHz with 60 MB cache. 128 GB of DDR4 memory is installed across eight 16 GB modules at 4800 MT/s. The H755 MX RAID controller manages four 2.4 TB 10K SAS drives in a chassis that accepts up to six 2.5-inch bays.

Suits virtualisation hosts needing high core

The server fits buyers who want a blade form factor with dual 32-core CPUs, 128 GB DDR4 and 10K SAS drives managed by an H755 MX controller. iDRAC9 Express provides remote management and a Marvell FastLinQ 41262 mezzanine card supplies dual 25 Gb connectivity. It is not for buyers who need an optical drive, more than six 2.5-inch drive bays, or the optional Fabric A, B or C switch modules that are not included.
