Server purpose

The Dell PowerEdge R640 is a 1U rackmount server built for business workloads such as virtualisation, databases, file storage, backups and application hosting. Two Intel Xeon Gold 6146 processors at 3.20GHz with 12 cores each deliver dependable performance for multi-threaded services. Storage controller and drive set
