The system ships with 128 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory and a PERC H745 controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 1400 W platinum power supplies and iDRAC9 Enterprise complete the configuration.

Suits dense virtualisation and HPC clusters

Organisations running virtualised workloads, container platforms or high-performance compute jobs in limited rack space will use the 28 cores per socket and the 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 card. Buyers who need GPU acceleration for AI training should look elsewhere because this unit has no GPU support. Customers requiring more than 128 GB of memory or additional drive bays beyond the ten 2.5-inch trays must choose a different chassis.

Ten 2.5-inch SAS/SATA trays set storage limits

The front panel provides exactly ten hot-swap trays for 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives. No further internal bays exist, so total raw capacity is capped by the number and size of drives you install in those ten slots. The PERC H745 with 4 GB NV cache manages the arrays, but the tray count is the hard limit for internal storage expansion.
