The Dell PowerEdge R650xs is a 1U rack server configured with dual 20-core Intel Xeon Silver 4316 processors and 512GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory. It targets virtualisation hosts, cloud nodes and dense analytics clusters that need maximum compute per rack unit. The server ships new with iDRAC9 Enterprise, dual 1400W platinum power supplies, rails and bezel included.

H745 RAID with 10 x 1.8TB SAS

The defining spec is the PERC H745 controller driving ten 1.8TB 10K SAS drives at 12Gb/s with 4GB NV cache and battery backup. This hardware RAID engine supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, delivering the throughput and redundancy a primary storage tier requires. No other drive count or interface is present in this build.

Dual 10GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 uplink
