The Dell PowerEdge R730 is a 2U rack-mounted server system powered by two Intel Xeon E5-2650v3 ten-core processors running at 2.3GHz. Seven PCIe 3.0 slots plus a dedicated PERC slot provide room for additional network or accelerator cards.

Confirm your rack can accommodate a 26.8-inch deep chassis and that the facility provides two compatible power feeds for the redundant 750W supplies. The server includes a DVD-ROM drive and a four-port 1GbE daughter card; optional 10GbE networking cards use the flexible NDC slot. No operating system, hard drives or drive trays are supplied, so source those separately.
