Two Intel Xeon E5-2699 v4 processors provide 22 cores each at 2.2 GHz with 3.6 GHz turbo, and 128 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory fills eight of the 24 DIMM slots.

Redundant power and quad-port networking

Dual 750 W platinum-efficiency power supplies and the 2U form factor with ready rails and bezel simplify rack installation and ongoing maintenance. The Intel X520/I350 daughter card adds two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ ports for flexible uplink choices, while iDRAC 8 Enterprise gives full out-of-band remote management without extra licensing.

A PERC H730 1 GB mini controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through, backed by a battery to protect write cache during power loss.
