Sustained load on eight SATA SSDs and H730P RAID

Under continuous workloads the eight 480 GB SATA SSDs operate behind the H730P RAID controller, which manages parity calculations and cache flushing without a separate burst buffer. The dual 1100 W redundant power supplies maintain stable voltage during prolonged disk rebuilds or heavy write sequences, while the chassis airflow design keeps drive and CPU temperatures within specification over extended periods.

PCIe Gen 3 slot and 10 GbE ceiling

The platform offers up to eight PCIe Gen 3 expansion slots, limiting add-in cards to that generation’s bandwidth envelope. Network I/O is capped by the integrated Intel X550 dual 10 Gb RJ45 and dual 1 Gb RJ45 ports, so east-west traffic cannot exceed 10 Gbps per link without an additional NIC. The eight 2.5-inch drive bays are fully populated, leaving no internal capacity for further storage expansion.
