2U rack server with dual Xeon 4316 processors

This 2U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4316 processors running at 2.3 GHz with a 3.4 GHz turbo frequency. Each CPU provides 20 cores for a total of 40 cores across the system. It is built for virtualisation hosts, database clusters and analytics workloads that demand high core counts and large memory capacity in a dense rack form factor. The platform supports up to two processors and 32 DDR4 DIMM slots for future expansion.

Redundant 1400 W platinum power supplies

Dual 1400 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies provide full redundancy with hot-swap replacement. The 2U chassis uses forced-air cooling across the processor sockets, memory banks and 24 drive bays. Fan speeds scale with inlet temperature and workload intensity to balance thermal headroom against acoustic output in a data-centre aisle. Redundant power and hot-swap components allow maintenance without service interruption.

PERC H755 RAID controller

The Dell PERC H755 controller brings 8 GB of non-volatile cache backed by a battery, enabling RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the 24 installed 1.8 TB 10K SAS drives. iDRAC9 Enterprise provides out-of-band remote management with virtual console, telemetry streaming and automated firmware updates. A Broadcom 57412 dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 card handles high-throughput network traffic. Ready rails and a front bezel are included for immediate rack mounting.
