Dual Xeon Silver 4116 5U server

The Dell PowerEdge T440 is a 5U tower server configured with two Intel Xeon Silver 4116 processors running at 2.1 GHz with a 3.0 GHz turbo frequency. Each CPU provides 12 cores for a total of 24 threads, targeting virtualization, database hosting and business-critical workloads. The system ships with 64 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across four modules. It is built for organizations that need scalable compute and dense storage in a single chassis.

Redundant 750 W platinum power

Two hot-swap 750 W platinum-efficiency power supplies provide full redundancy for continuous operation. The chassis supports up to sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays, with eight drive trays included, allowing storage expansion without downtime. Integrated dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and iDRAC 9 Express remote management keep the server accessible even when the operating system is offline. The PERC H330 controller manages SAS and SATA drives with 12 Gb/s throughput.

Expandable storage and PCIe slots

The server offers sixteen 2.5-inch drive bays so you can add SAS, SATA or SSD media as capacity needs grow. Eight trays are installed; the remaining bays accept standard 2.5-inch hot-swap carriers. PCI Express expansion slots accept RAID controllers, additional network adapters, GPUs or other add-in cards. A rack conversion kit is optional for cabinet deployment. Front bezel and ready rails are not included.
