1U rack server with dual Gold 6126 CPUs

The Dell EMC PowerEdge R740 fits a 1U rack space and ships with two Intel Gold 6126 processors running at 2.6 GHz, each providing 12 cores. 512 GB of DDR4 memory is installed across 16 modules of 32 GB at PC4-2400. Two 1.92 TB SAS RI SSDs are pre-loaded behind an H730P controller, while the chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch drive bays. It targets workloads that demand high core counts and large memory capacity in a single rack unit.

Redundant 1100 W power and iDRAC9 remote management

Dual 1100 W power supplies provide redundancy for continuous operation. The iDRAC9 Enterprise module enables out-of-band monitoring, firmware updates and console redirection over the network. Integrated networking uses an Intel X550 controller delivering two 10 Gb RJ45 ports and two 1 Gb RJ45 ports. Up to eight PCIe Gen 3 expansion slots are available for additional I/O cards.

Rails, bezel and power cords included

The shipment includes sliding rails for rack mounting, a front bezel without an LCD panel, and power cables for immediate deployment. No optical drive is fitted, freeing internal space for storage or add-in cards. The H730P RAID controller manages the installed SSDs and any future drives with hardware RAID acceleration. This configuration is not eligible for export.
