The ESTONE TJ-A022 is a 16 ft DisplayPort 1.4 fiber cable built for long in-wall runs. It connects a DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort display with male-to-male gold-plated connectors and a hybrid glass-fiber plus copper construction. The 24K gold contacts resist corrosion while the TPE jacket protects the four optical cores. It is a new cable rated for permanent installation behind walls.

The spec that decides fit

This cable carries up to 32.4 Gbps over DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 and requires directional connection: the marked Source end plugs into the computer or GPU, the Display end into the monitor. If your hardware does not support DisplayPort 1.4 or you cannot observe the fixed plug orientation, the link will not train at the rated speed. Backward compatibility covers DisplayPort 1.2 devices at their native rates.

Resolution headroom and limits

The link drives 8K at 60 Hz (7680 × 4320) and 4K at 144 Hz with HDR and 3D support, plus lower resolutions such as 1080p and 1440p. Optical transmission remains stable up to 100 metres, so the 16 ft length uses only a fraction of the distance budget. Bandwidth tops out at 32.4 Gbps; higher refresh rates at 8K or uncompressed 4K beyond 144 Hz exceed the cable’s capacity.
