The male-to-male connectors are 24K gold plated for corrosion resistance. It suits PC builders and AV installers who need long runs without signal boosters.

Fiber advantage

Optical conductors reject electromagnetic interference that degrades copper cables at this length. The cable carries dynamic HDR10, 3D, VR headset signals, HDCP 2.2, 32 audio channels and 1536 kHz sample rate. Backward compatibility covers DP 1.2, 2K and 1080p sources. No external power or booster is required for the 16 ft span.

Installation notes

Route the slim TPE jacket through conduit or in-wall cavities; the fiber cores are fragile if kinked sharply. Connect the marked Source end to the GPU or console and the Display end to the monitor.
