The Flashforge AD5X is a CoreXY 3D printer with an Intelligent Filament System that enables four-color printing through a single 0.4mm nozzle. It ships largely assembled and reaches a print-ready state in roughly 10 minutes after unboxing. The 300°C nozzle temperature extends material compatibility beyond standard PLA. Full-auto leveling removes manual calibration from the workflow.

Sustained high-speed printing behavior

A maximum travel speed of 600mm/s and 20,000mm/s² acceleration keep multi-color jobs moving without long pauses between tool changes. The 50W heater brings the nozzle to 200°C in about 35 seconds, while a 32mm³/s volumetric flow rate supports the motion system at speed. An automatic 4kg filament refill reduces the frequency of mid-print material swaps on large builds. Resume-after-power-loss protects progress during extended sessions.

Ensure your environment can accommodate the 8.7-inch frame dimensions and that 1.75mm filament spools are available for the materials you plan to print.
