D5 PWM Pump with Acrylic Top

This 12 V permanent-magnet centrifugal pump delivers 18 W of cooling power for custom water-cooling loops. The acrylic top with a black aluminium-alloy heatsink cover integrates directly into D5-format reservoirs. PWM control lets the loop adjust speed automatically based on system temperature. It suits builders assembling a new open-loop or upgrading an existing D5 reservoir.

4 m Head Pressure and PWM Range

The pump develops up to 4 metres of lift, providing comfortable flow for typical CPU-and-GPU loops with moderate restriction. At higher restriction — dense radiator stacks or many angled fittings — flow will taper off as the curve reaches its limit. The sine-wave drive circuit keeps operation stable across the PWM duty cycle without audible vibration. Headroom is sufficient for most single-loop configurations.

Replaces Fixed-Speed D5 Units

Swapping a fixed-voltage D5 for this PWM model removes the need for a separate fan controller or voltage regulator. The upgrade is worthwhile when the loop already uses a PWM-capable motherboard header or standalone controller. Builders whose current pump runs at full speed constantly gain quieter idle operation and automated ramp-up under load. Systems without PWM control cannot use the variable-speed function.
