Build foundation

The Fractal Design Pop Air RGB is an ATX mid-tower case built from steel and tempered glass. It supports ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and ships with three 120 mm Aspect RGB fans installed. Two front USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks handle daily peripherals. The hexagonally patterned mesh front panel is designed for high airflow.

Airflow upgrade

This case replaces older enclosures that rely on solid front panels and limited fan mounts. The jump is worth it when a build needs front radiator support up to 280 mm, top radiator space up to 240 mm with a 46 mm RAM clearance limit, and rear 120 mm radiator room. Seven expansion slots and included drive trays that each hold a 3.5" and a 2.5" drive simplify the move.

Interface ceiling

Front I/O tops out at USB 3.0 speeds unless the optional USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C upgrade kit is added separately. The top radiator mount is restricted to 240 mm and requires memory modules no taller than 46 mm. Graphics cards are limited to 405 mm length when front fans are fitted, and CPU coolers cannot exceed 170 mm in height.
