Limits of the Thunderbolt 4 interface

Thunderbolt 4 provides up to 40 Gbps bandwidth for data, video and charging through the USB Type-C ports. It supports a single external display at high resolution or two 4K displays. The connection requires certified cables to reach full speed and power delivery. Passive cables longer than 0.8 metres may reduce performance. Not all USB-C peripherals support the Thunderbolt protocol, so compatibility should be checked before purchase.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives fully assembled with the operating system and drivers configured. The active pen pairs automatically via Bluetooth 5.4 when brought near the screen. The included wireless mouse connects through its own USB receiver. Because the memory is soldered to the board, it cannot be upgraded after purchase. The 59 WHr battery is internal and not user-replaceable. Opening the chassis to access the SSD may void the manufacturer warranty.
