16.0" OLED laptop for Windows Pro users

The HP OmniBook 5 ships with a 16.0" OLED WUXGA panel at 1920x1200 resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core Ultra 7 255U processor with 12 MB cache and a 5.2 GHz turbo frequency. The 16 GB LPDDR5X memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded after purchase. An 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD provides the primary storage volume.

Check soldered memory and port selection

The 16 GB LPDDR5X capacity is fixed on the motherboard, so buyers who need more RAM must choose a different configuration before ordering. Video output relies on a single HDMI port alongside two USB 3.2 Type-C connectors. There is no full-size USB-A port, no Ethernet jack and no memory-card reader listed in the specifications. The 65 W USB-C power adapter uses a Type-C power-in connector for charging.

Sustained load on integrated graphics

The Intel Graphics integrated GPU shares system memory and thermal headroom with the 12-core, 14-thread processor. Under continuous multi-threaded workloads the 59 Whr battery and 65 W power supply limit peak performance duration. Surface temperatures may rise on the 0.9 in chassis during extended render or compile sessions. Fan behaviour will scale with the 3.6 lb thermal solution rather than a discrete graphics cooler.
