This HP ProLiant DL380 Gen10 is a 2U rackmount server system built for business workloads such as virtualization, databases, and application hosting. It ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6154 processors running at 3.0GHz, each providing 18 cores for 36 cores total and 72 threads. The system includes 128GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory and ten 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays with trays installed. Four onboard 1GbE RJ45 ports handle network connectivity.

Suited for dense compute and moderate memory needs

This server fits multi-node VM deployments, container platforms, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and on-premises enterprise applications such as SQL, ERP, or directory services. It also works for private cloud clusters and data lake ingestion nodes. Buyers who need larger memory capacity beyond 128GB or who require GPU acceleration for AI training should look elsewhere. Environments demanding 10GbE or faster networking out of the box will need additional adapters.

Integrates into standard racks with redundant power

The 2U form factor mounts in standard server racks alongside redundant hot-plug power supplies for uptime. Ten SFF bays free up space compared to large-form-factor chassis while supporting hot-swap storage changes. The P408i-a Smart Array RAID controller is available as an option for hardware RAID. iLO 5 Advanced management is present with the licence sold separately. No operating system is included, so the installer provides the hypervisor or OS.
