This HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8 is a 2U rack-mount server system built around a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 processor running at 2.0 GHz with six cores and twelve threads. It ships with 16 GB of DDR3 memory installed as two 8 GB modules across 24 DIMM slots supporting advanced ECC and online spare features. The chassis provides eight 2.5-inch hot-swap SAS/SATA drive bays and includes an HP Smart Array P420i controller with 512 MB FBWC supporting RAID 0, 1, 1+0, 5 and 5+0.
