This HPE BL460c Gen10 blade fits into a compatible c-Class enclosure and delivers two Xeon Gold 6128 processors running at 3.4 GHz with 64 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. It is built for virtualization clusters, database nodes and high-density workloads that need integrated 20 Gb networking and iLO Advanced remote management.
Installation fits a c-Class bay with tool-less rails
The half-height blade slides into an empty c-Class slot and locks with the integrated handle; power, cooling and networking are supplied by the enclosure midplane. Common issues arise when the enclosure firmware or the Smart Array P204i-b SR controller firmware are not aligned with the blade’s latest BIOS, so verify both before first boot.
64 GB DDR4 with headroom to 128 GB
The installed 64 GB DDR4 supports typical virtualization densities and can be doubled to the 128 GB maximum when workloads grow.
