Server identity

The HPE DL380 Gen9 8SFF rack server arrives with two Xeon E5-2623 v3 processors at 3GHz and 256GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. It targets organisations that need a dense 2U platform for virtualisation, database or general compute workloads. The 8SFF chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch drives and includes a P440 PCIe SAS controller plus dual 10GbE and dual 1GbE network ports. Remote management is handled by HPE iLO Advanced.

Pre-order checks

Verify that your rack provides 36 inches of depth, 24 inches of width and 10 inches of height for the 2U form factor. Confirm the facility can supply two 500W Flex Slot power supplies and that the P440 controller matches your desired RAID level.
