The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 fits a single Intel Xeon Silver 4410Y processor running at 2.0 GHz into a 1U chassis. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 12Gb/s SAS controller. The platform targets IT infrastructure, virtualised workloads and containerised applications where rack density matters. 32GB installed with 8TB maximum headroom

One processor is installed and the board accepts a second, doubling core count. Sixteen memory slots support up to 8TB of DDR5 when fully populated. The MR408i-o controller manages SAS drives for local storage. Memory bandwidth reaches 4800 MT/s per socket. Workloads that exceed single-socket compute or memory capacity can scale within the same chassis.

PCIe Gen5 and SAS interface limits

PCIe Gen5 lanes provide high-speed I/O for add-in cards and accelerators. The onboard SAS controller operates at 12Gb/s, setting the ceiling for direct-attached drive throughput. Network and GPU expansion depend on available PCIe slots and thermal budget. The 1U height restricts full-length cards and limits airflow for high-wattage accelerators.
