This HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 unit ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2603 v3 processors running at 1.6GHz and 128GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. The 4LFF chassis supports up to four 3.5-inch SATA or SAS drives via the Smart Array P440 controller. Integrated HPE iLO Advanced remote management and a dual-port 1GbE 332T adapter provide out-of-band and network connectivity for data-centre deployment.

Dual 500W Flex Slot power supplies share the load across both CPUs and the memory array during continuous workloads. The six-core-per-socket design with 15MB cache per processor handles multi-threaded tasks such as virtualisation hosting or database serving without thermal throttling. Firmware is updated to the latest stable release and each system completes a full burn-in cycle before dispatch.

Thermals noise and power

Redundant 500W supplies operate within the 36 x 24 x 10 inch rack footprint at a typical 40lb weight. Hot-plug fans adjust speed based on inlet temperature sensors to maintain component margins under normal utilisation. Acoustic output remains within standard rack-environment limits while the iLO interface monitors power draw and thermal status in real time.
