The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 is a 4LFF rack server built for virtualisation, database and business-application workloads. Dual Xeon E5-2650L v3 processors running at 1.8 GHz deliver 24 cores and 30 MB cache per CPU. The system ships with 384 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory installed and supports up to 3 TB total capacity.
Four 3.5-inch drive bays with P440 SAS controller
The chassis provides four 3.5-inch hot-plug bays wired to an HPE Smart Array P440 SAS controller that manages SATA and SAS drives. Dual 500 W Flex Slot power supplies give redundant power in a 2U form factor measuring 36 x 24 x 10 inches. Integrated iLO Advanced remote management and a 1 Gb 2-port 332T Ethernet adapter handle out-of-band and network connectivity.
No drives installed — configure storage to suit
Drives are not included so you can select capacity and RAID level that match the workload. A rail kit is available on request for rack mounting. Firmware and BIOS are updated to the latest stable release and every unit passes full diagnostics and burn-in testing before it leaves the facility.
