The HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus v2 is a compact tower server built for small businesses that need on-premises compute and storage. The chassis holds four 3.5-inch drive bays populated with 8 TB SATA drives for 32 TB of raw capacity. SATA storage and 1 GbE network limits
Four SATA III 6 Gb/s links feed the drive array, so sustained throughput is bounded by the SATA interface rather than the controller. The embedded four-port 1 GbE controller caps network transfers at gigabit speeds, which can become a bottleneck when moving large datasets across the LAN. The single power supply provides no redundancy, so a power-unit failure takes the whole system offline. VROC RAID management runs on the CPU, adding a small compute overhead during rebuilds.
