Small-business tower server
The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Plus is a tower server built for small businesses and remote offices. It ships with a Xeon E-2314 four-core processor running at 2.8GHz with turbo up to 4.5GHz. The system includes 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz unbuffered memory in two 16GB modules. Drives and memory are supplied separately and require installation.
48TB SATA storage capacity
Four 12TB SATA III 3.5-inch hard drives provide 48TB of raw capacity managed by a Smart Array VROC controller. The SATA 6Gb/s interface suits bulk file storage, backup repositories and archival workloads. Mechanical drives will saturate well before the controller for random I/O or latency-sensitive databases. The single cabled power supply limits redundancy for mission-critical uptime.
Expansion slots and remote management
Four PCIe expansion slots and an M.2 slot allow added networking, storage or acceleration cards. Integrated iLO 5 Standard gives remote console, power control and health monitoring over the network. Dual-port 1Gb Ethernet from the Broadcom BCM5720 adapter handles basic connectivity. Physical security includes a padlock eye, bezel lock and Kensington slot. A DVD-ROM drive is fitted.

Questions sur cet article
Will the four 12TB SATA III 3.5-inch drives fit into the same drive bays my older SATA 3.5-inch drives use?
The server accepts 3.5-inch SATA III 6Gb/s drives, so existing SATA 3.5-inch drives can occupy the same bays.
How can I confirm the Xeon E-2314 and 32GB DDR4 3200MHz are recognised after I install the memory and drives?
Use iLO 5 Standard remote console or the system POST screen to verify the 4-core 2.8GHz processor and both 16GB DDR4 3200MHz DIMMs are detected.
The drives and memory arrive uninstalled — what else must I supply to complete the build?
You receive the tower chassis, single cabled power supply, DVD-ROM, bezel lock, Kensington slot and rails; only a screwdriver is needed to seat the four 12TB drives and two 16GB DIMMs.
