Limits of the installed PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe storage

The system drive uses the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, so its peak throughput is bound by that standard rather than the newer PCIe 5.0 specification. The 600 W 80+ Bronze power supply caps total system draw, which restricts future upgrades to components that fit within the same power envelope. Air cooling handles the thermal load of the current CPU and GPU but may not suffice for significantly hotter parts.

Check your upgrade plans against the AM4 platform

The motherboard is an MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI using the AM4 socket, so any future processor must be compatible with that platform and the existing BIOS. The 600 W unit limits graphics card upgrades to models whose total board power stays within the remaining headroom after the CPU and other components. Physical clearance inside the case should also be verified before fitting a longer or thicker card.
