96-core server processor for scale-out workloads

The Intel Xeon 6 6952P delivers 96 cores and 192 threads at a 2.1 GHz base frequency. It reaches a 3.9 GHz max turbo and a 3.2 GHz all-core turbo with 480 MB of L3 cache. The chip targets dense virtualisation, high-performance computing and large database tiers that benefit from high core counts and 12 memory channels.

Verify FCLGA 4710 platform and 400 W cooling

The processor requires a motherboard with the FCLGA 4710 socket and a chipset that supports the Xeon 6 series. Memory must be DDR5 at up to 6400 MHz or MRDIMM at 8800 MHz across 12 channels for full bandwidth. A thermal solution rated for 400 W TDP is mandatory as no cooler is included in the OEM package.

OEM tray processor with six UPI links

The unit ships as a processor only without a retail box or cooler. Six UPI links at 24 GT/s enable two-socket scaling with up to 96 PCIe 5.0 lanes per socket. Instruction support includes Intel AMX, AVX-512, AVX2, AVX and SSE4.2 for accelerated AI inference and vector workloads.
