The Intel Xeon Gold 6154 delivers 18 cores and 36 threads at a 3.0 GHz base frequency with a 3.70 GHz max turbo. Built on 14 nm SkyLake architecture, it fits the LGA 3647 socket and draws 200 W. This processor targets servers running heavily threaded workloads such as virtualisation clusters, database nodes and high-performance computing jobs.

24.75 MB L3 cache and six-channel memory headroom

The 24.75 MB shared L3 cache feeds all 18 cores, reducing latency for large working sets. Six memory channels at 2666 MHz provide high aggregate bandwidth, so memory-bound tasks scale across sockets. When datasets exceed cache capacity or thread count surpasses 36, performance becomes limited by memory throughput and core count rather than clock speed.

PCIe 3.0 with 48 lanes and 10.4 GT/s interconnect
