Compact 9-Key Macro Keypad

The Koolertron 09-BLB is a one-handed mechanical keypad with nine fully programmable keys and blue tactile switches. It connects via a detachable 1.5 m USB cable and draws less than 100 mA at 5 V. The compact 5.51 in x 2.36 in x 6.69 in footprint saves desk space and works alongside a standard 104-key keyboard without interference. USB Wired Limits

The keypad relies on a single USB 2.0 connection for both power and data, so it cannot operate wirelessly or through a passive hub that limits current below 100 mA. Macro playback and RGB lighting are handled by the onboard MCU, meaning no background software is required once profiles are saved, but initial programming must be performed on a Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 or Mac OS machine. The fixed cable length restricts placement to roughly 1.5 metres from the host port.

Each of the nine keys can be assigned any of 127 standard codes, 19 multimedia shortcuts or lock functions, while 16 macro slots store sequences of up to 349 commands across four independent layers. This covers complex shortcuts for CAD, video editing, coding or OSU! gameplay, but the nine physical keys limit simultaneous unique triggers. Users needing more concurrent bindings or analog input will find the key count restrictive.
