20 kg·cm Torque Servo for Robotics

This LORDWORLD serial bus servo delivers up to 20 kg·cm of torque at 7.4 V and rotates 240° under power. Three wiring channels on the top, left and right simplify cable routing in compact robot joints. The default ID is 1 and can be reprogrammed, making the unit a direct drop-in for Spiderbot Pro servos.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous operation the servo maintains its rated torque while reporting temperature, voltage and position feedback through the serial bus. When power is removed the output shaft turns freely through 360°, preventing mechanical binding during manual repositioning or emergency stops. Communication protocol documentation and sample code for 51 and STM32 platforms are supplied to aid integration.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify that your controller can supply 7.4 V and handle the serial bus protocol used for feedback and ID assignment. Confirm the 1.57 × 0.79 × 2.01 inch footprint and 58 g mass fit your linkage design. Ensure your firmware can parse the temperature, voltage and position data streams the servo transmits.

Questions sur cet article

How hot or noisy does the 20 kg·cm servo get during continuous operation?

The servo uses metal gears rated for 20 kg·cm at 7.4 V and provides temperature feedback so the controller can monitor heat buildup in real time.

What controller and wiring do I need to run this three-channel bus servo?

A serial-bus controller such as a 51 or STM32 board is required; the three top, left and right channels simplify daisy-chain wiring and the default ID is 1.

Will the 240° rotation limit clash with my existing 360° robot joints?

The servo moves 240° under power and freewheels 360° when unpowered, so it fits joints needing powered precision plus free manual positioning.
